Author Bio
DWIGHT JUDY, Ph.D. - Currently Dr. Dwight Judy serves as Associate Professor of Spiritual Formation and Director of Doctor of Ministry and Spiritual Formation Programs for Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL.  He also serves as Director of Spiritual Formation for Oakwood Christian Spiritual Life Center.  Both a licensed psychologist and an ordained United Methodist minister, he is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and of Spiritual Directors, International and he provides training for the United Methodist Certification in Spiritual Formation. Previously, he was on the faculty of the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA. He was president of the Association for Transpersonal Psychology from 1994 to 2000 and is the author of four books, including Christian Meditation and Inner healing and Embracing God: Praying with Teresa of Avila.
